Cenote Discovery
Dos Ojos
Dos Ojos refers to two neighboring cenotes that connect into a very large cavern zone shared between the two. These two cenotes appear like two large eyes into the underground, thus the name. The beautiful surroundings were featured in an IMAX film, Journey Into Amazing Caves, and the 2006 BBC/Discovery Channel series Planet Earth as well as the 2005 movie The Cave.
Gran Cenote
Located just a few kilometres from Tulum on the way to Coba, this is one of the top diving spots in Riviera Maya. Although its name suggests it is only one big cenote, it really consists of several cenotes meandering along the verdant jungle floor and connected by wooden walkways. It is known for its crystal clear water and abundant underwater life. Dives are popular here.
Hidden Worlds Cenotes Park
A world of adventure itself, the Hidden Worlds Cenotes Park has unique adventures including cenote snorkeling, zip lines, rappelling, diving, the skycycle and the Avatar. This park has been made famous in films such as the 2001 IMAX movie, Journey Into Amazing Caves and the 2007 BBC Planet Earth series, Natgeo in 2007 and HDTV’s Get Out series in 2011.
